Aceweb Internet Acquires CEGlobe

CEGlobe Becomes Part of the SoftwareArchives Network

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 2001--

Aceweb Internet today announced the acquisition of CEGlobe (http://www.ceglobe.com), an information and resource portal for the Windows CE® operating system and CE® based PDAs.

The site features news, hardware and software reviews, discussion boards, and an extensive Internet link section. CEGlobe becomes the latest addition to Aceweb's SoftwareArchives (http://www.softwarearchives.com) network.

CEGlobe will be paired with CEArchives (http://www.cearchives.com), a SoftwareArchives property that provides Windows CE® software downloads. This acquisition allows Aceweb the opportunity to offer users of both sites access to a full range of Windows CE® software and information resources.

The user-bases of both sites will combine to create one of the largest Windows CE® resource properties on the Internet. This will give Aceweb the ability to provide advertisers with a highly targeted marketing platform for a variety of products including software, hardware, PDAs, wireless applications and Internet services.

CEGlobe and CEArchives have both experienced rapid growth rates in recent months. This can be attributed to the growing popularity of Windows CE® operating system, which is currently used in a variety of computing platforms including mobile and wireless technology, handheld computers, PDAs and the new PocketPC®.
